The Electricity Authority is proposing to remove 36 clauses that require it to act or behave reasonably from the ‘rulebook’ that governs the New Zealand electricity market. (1) The move is being opposed by a group of consumer, business, farming and electricity industry organisations, who are calling for people to lodge urgent objections. Submissions close tomorrow.
