It's all about an improved  future

Napier, MSCNewsWire, 26 May 2016 -  All the best for those involved in the forthcoming Gypsy Day migration - an annual occasion unique in the Kiwi farming calendar.  For many it brings with it renewed hope and inspiration for better times ahead.

Now enter the Fonterra inspired #431AM advertising campaign.

Getting New Zealand started every day they are, thats the Fonterra suppliers were talking about here.   They do this so that this tiny country far away from the rest of the world  will be a better place for all to live in. Yeah right.  Of course they are proud of what they do and the country,  but it would be fair to say  that most of the Fonterra suppliers will be more interested in improving their own lot rather than worrying about how the rest of the world sees them?

For sure its great that the campaign is showing those in the larger population areas a little about the rural  environment but really given the significant reduction in income that many of Fonterra's suppliers have had to and are enduring, wouldn't the dollars used to fund this campaign been better  channelled to these suppliers?

Kind of takes you back to the flag referendum and where that $26million plus could have been better spent.  A new head office for the parlimentarians maybe. No way, it would have been better spent in the health or education sectors, not to keep NZPost revenues looking respectable!

Apparantly Fonterra's new head office is quite some building, might do a run through in my old Red Bands and get a good look for myself.  #431AM a good time?
