Napier Engineering Deploys Precision Expertise on AFFCO's Imlay Processing

Long-established Hawkes Bay and Rangitikei industries work together on major development

Napier, MSCNewsWire, Wednesday 8 June 2016 - Specialist food processing equipment company Napier Engineering is deploying its 150 year old precision fabricating skills onto the major refit of Wanganui’s AFFCO Imlay freezing works. The Imlay works is a centrepiece of the Rangitikei region economy and licensed for all major export regions, including EU, North America, China, Middle Eastern and Asian markets.

Napier Engineer is one of the last of New Zealand’s heavy engineering production engineers with its Niven brand of food processors being the industry standard throughout Oceania.Napier Engineering this year celebrates being in continuous production for 150 years, while Wanganui’s backbone employer the Imlay works started in 1915.
