Have breakfast with Davey Hughes

Feb 13, 2018  -  The Napier City Council Business Breakfast Series events take place quarterly. They encourage businesses large and small to attend and to learn from the range of inspiring business leaders who speak and lead discussion on a variety of topics.

The next Business Breakfast will be held on Friday 23 February at the Napier Conference Centre and we look forward to welcoming Davey Hughes from Swazi as our speaker.

Davey has hunted caribou in the Arctic Circle, grizzlies in Alaska and buffalo in Tanzania. He is the bane of Customs officials’ lives, has run the gruelling Coast to Coast and is the man behind the highly successful Swazi outdoor clothing label. Davey Hughes - aka the Swazi Man - is many things, but one thing he is most certainly not is conventional.

He has built an outdoor clothing empire out of Levin. Proudly pro-Kiwi, now Davey wants to get kids into our back country having “roughing-it” adventures – the type that kick-started his own remarkable life.

Davey lives life to the full, but there is more to the Swazi Man than hunting and a taste for adventure. Find out at Napier City Council's February Business Breakfast what underpins his business philosophy and how he blends it with his absolute love of all things New Zealand.

Please join us for the first Napier City Council Business Breakfast for 2018.
