New Zealand Manufacturing Roadshow

Members of the CADPRO Systems manufacturing team will have returned from the most significant manufacturing show in North America – IMTS 2018 and from a visit with Markforged.

They will share their findings from these information rich events.

There is tremendous interest being shown by both new and existing NZ manufacturers in the changes that 3D Printers are having on the market. Learn about the strength you need for tooling and functional parts, that are designed for accuracy and built to survive the production floor environment. Seeing is believing, and this is your opportunity to get your hands on Markforged 3D prints.

Richard Elving, from Markforged, will be in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, presenting how 3D Metal Printing can be applied in New Zealand manufacturing and how Metal X is 10x lower cost, 10x safer and 10x easier to use than comparable Metal systems.

To complement these printers, there will be a presentation about the value of the Autodesk Product Design & Manufacturing Collection and the workflows it enables:

  •  Scan and Photos to 3D Part using Inventor Professional and Printer
  •  Design to Machine Shop CNC's using Autodesk HSM
  •  Sheetmetal Design to Nesting to Profile CNC using the new Nesting and HSM
  •  Data Management – Do you care about your data?
