Secretary to the Treasury Gabriel Makhlouf has appointed Livia Esterhazy as a new non-executive director on the Treasury’s Board.

“I am pleased to welcome Livia Esterhazy to the Treasury Board,” said Mr Makhlouf. “Her insights and advice will be a valuable addition to our Board and an asset to the Treasury.”

The Treasury Board was established in 2010. It is an advisory body that supports the Treasury's Chief Executive and Executive Leadership Team in ensuring that its organisational strategy, capability and performance make the best possible contribution to the achievement of its goals.

Livia was appointed based on her commercial acumen and leadership experience, and unique blend of knowledge of both the business and not-for-profit sectors. She is on the Board of Wellington Trails Trust and is also a trustee of seabird protection alliance Southern Seabird Solutions.

“I’m honoured to have been appointed to the Treasury Board,” said Livia. “I’m looking forward to bringing my perspective and knowledge to this valuable body.”
