Emirates has won two top awards at the annual Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards for 2017. As well as taking the title of International Airline of the Year, Emirates was named the ‘Best of the Best’ for 2017, coming out on top of all other 21 category winners with the highest customer satisfaction of any company operating in New Zealand.

The awards, which focus on recognising and rewarding companies consistently delivering a superior level of customer service, reflect the experiences of consumers over a 12-month period.

Chris Lethbridge, Emirates Regional Manager New Zealand says, “Whether travelling with us for work or leisure, we believe the journey is as important as the destination. From our award-winning inflight entertainment through to the special care we take of our youngest travellers, every passenger can expect best-in-class service from our multinational cabin crew.

“For close to 15 years, Emirates has been committed to delivering superior service to New Zealand travellers and we’re thrilled that this cumulative effort has been acknowledged through the Roy Morgan awards.”Globally, Emirates earlier this month won World’s Best Inflight Entertainment award for the 14th year in a row at the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards 2018 in London. The airline also secured a service excellence award for best airline staff service in the Middle East this year.

All passengers travelling on Emirates flights receive award-winning service and hospitality from the airline’s multinational cabin crew, while enjoying complimentary gourmet meals and beverages. Inflight, customers can access over 3500 channels of on demand audio and visual entertainment on the ice system, from the latest movies, music and games, through to live sports. Families with young children are well cared for with special services and products to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable flight experience, from free toys to kid’s meals, entertainment and priority boarding.

Emirates departs daily from Auckland to Bali, then onwards to Dubai, as well as offering a daily non-stop flight direct to Dubai. A daily service also departs Christchurch for Sydney, also travelling through to Dubai. From Dubai, New Zealanders can connect to more than 100 Emirates destinations across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

With the launch of the new Bali non-stop route last month, Emirates became the only airline offering daily, year-round flights to Bali, providing New Zealanders with greater choice and flexibility when booking their island holiday.
