BUILDING BRIDGES: Samoa’s first bedding and mattress manufacturing company have imported its first foam mattress-making machine into Samoa. BUILDING BRIDGES: Samoa’s first bedding and mattress manufacturing company have imported its first foam mattress-making machine into Samoa.

Sleepwell International continues to build bridges across the bedding and mattress industry in Samoa.

As Samoa’s first bedding and mattress manufacturing company, another important milestone was achieved this week with the first foam mattress-making machine hitting Samoa’s shores at Sleepwell International.

Sleepwell International continues advocating for its vision To Be the Number 1 supplier of Quality Bedding in the Pacific Region and beyond.

It has already established some first-time-history-making milestones, from being the first local Factory for bedding and mattresses in Samoa, and now the very first to own and operate a foam mattress manufacturing machine in the country.

“This is history in the making and an essential step for Sleepwell International,” said S.S.A.B. C.E.O. Tofilau Fiti Leung Wai.

“The drive for Sleepwell International remains, with supplying our local people with employment and with the best bedding options locally. The foam mattress making machine means we can explore more affordable prices for our local market especially export opportunities.”

Sleep Well International Director, Sala George Lutu was ecstatic.

“It’s been our dream to manufacture foam mattresses in Samoa and now this dream has been realized. Not even Sleepwell New Zealand has a foam mattress making machine,” he said.

“This is the perfect opportunity for Samoa to manufacture mattresses at efficient costs, and export to the pacific region including New Zealand.”
