Synlait (NZX: SML; ASX: SM1) can confirm that both of its major capital projects remain on track and are forecast to be completed on time, and on budget.

Tetra Pak, Synlait’s only contracted partner for the projects, has confirmed both projects will be delivered as originally planned:

  1. Synlait Pokeno, which is Synlait’s second nutritional powder manufacturing site, due to be commissioned for the 2019 / 2020 season; and
  2. The advanced liquid dairy packaging facility at Synlait Dunsandel, due to be commissioned early 2019.

Synlait remains confident in its relationship with Tetra Pak and their approach, which will deliver to Synlait’s high standards and specifications.

This update follows Synlait’s announcement on 1 August about Ebert Construction Ltd being placed in receivership.
