LOGOS expands into New Zealand

LOGOS has announced that it is expanding its Asia Pacific business into New Zealand with the acquisition of a property in Auckland from Fletcher Concrete and Infrastructure Limited, a subsidiary of Fletcher Building.

Located in Auckland’s key industrial suburb of Wiri, the 10 hectare site is located on the corner of Roscommon Road and Wiri Station Road. The site has direct access to one of Auckland’s key arterial roads, the South Western Motorway, and is directly adjacent to the Conlinx Inland Port which services the Ports of Auckland, New Zealand’s largest container port by volume, handling more than 1,600 ship calls and 2.7 million tonnes of break-bulk cargo annually.

LOGOS will develop the site, which has expansion potential, into a circa 55,000sqm logistics estate to service the growing demand from its existing and new tenant customers for modern, purpose built and well-located facilities in this market.

“Today’s announcement is an exciting step forward for our business and customers. “The New Zealand industrial and logistics sector has experienced strong growth over the past few years on the back of the country’s underlying economic fundamentals, increasing population and importantly the rise in e-commerce. We believe there will be many opportunities for LOGOS to partner with our investors and tenant customers across New Zealand over the coming years, and the Wiri site is an important and strategic first development for the Group,” Trent Iliffe, LOGOS’ Joint Managing Director, said.
