Niven Series Ensures that Specialist By Products Manufacturer Meets European Quality Standards

All-purpose upgrade for Hawkes Bay Protein

Napier, MSCNewsWire, 18 April 2016  -  Hawkes Bay Protein, often considered New Zealand’s most specialist animal by-products manufacturer, is built around Napier Engineering & Contracting's standard Niven Series range of processing equipment from pre-breakers through to cutters-slicers and screen-washers.

Pictured is Hawkes Bay Protein’s newly installed Niven SW 1-3 screen wash specially designed to ensure the longest possible duration of freshness for organic material. At right is the process train and console complete with integrated foreign matter detector and automatic eject and bin.

This new all-purpose upgrade of Hawkes Bay Protein’s line ensures the company's continuing compatibility with international quality control standards, notably those of Germany which is an important market for the company’s rendered animal by products.
