Apr 03, 2018 -  Glenn Ashby has won nine A Class World Championships and is considered the benchmark sailor for the class. He is also a sailmaker by trade and used his extraordinary technical skills, along with ETNZ designers, to mastermind the trimming of the Team New Zealand wing on the winning America's Cup catamaran in the 35th edition of the event.

Glenn has continued his association with North Sails to design and release a new Decksweeper sail for the A Class.

The Norths website says:

The Glenn Ashby 2018 model designed for high speed sailing, with much attention being paid to the bottom loading of the sail and twist profiles. Overall depth and entry and exit angles have been tailored to support the sail through a large range of conditions and a variety of mast setups. This sail will suit a big range of crew weights and wind conditions.Standard Features
