The Reserve Bank will implement a change to improve the data released with the Monetary Policy Statement (MPS) from November.

The release of a new projections table for a range of key economic variables is intended to provide more information to help analysts and other interested parties to better understand the Bank’s economic projections, by providing a consistent, wide range of data in a user-friendly format.

The projections table will be included in a tab in the existing Excel spreadsheet published on the Bank’s website with the graph data for each MPS. Quarterly forecasts for more than 30 variables will be published, in both levels and growth rates (where meaningful).
