Will reduce food wastage between farm and consumer

MSCNewsWire, Napier, Tuesday 5 April 2016 - Napier Engineering & Contracting has designed and built for application in the Middle East a new product series of mobile and modular compact abattoirs.

These extendable abattoirs have been approved for use in New Zealand by the Ministry of Primary Industries. The miniaturised abattoirs are specifically designed for use in hot climates where there is considerable wastage of foodstuffs, as much as 20 percent in India, between farms and retail outlets.

The modular components of the mobile abattoir can be aggregated and clipped together to adjust to the required throughput.

Additional components and services can be added and subtracted as required.  Optional extras include effluent capability, power generation, and varying capacities of water reticulation.

Further information on the mobile abattoir can be obtained from Napier Engineering's Ken Evans and on +64 6 843 0632  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.    www.napiereng.co.nz
